Career Tip of the Day

Faint

Job seekers often speak doubt and unbelief, even believers. When confronted about it they say, “I’m only human. I can’t help it if I get down.” That’s not true. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you most definitely can "help it"! You have the ability to stand in faith but you have to choose to set your face like stone and determine to do God’s will. You have to make a once-and-forall-time decision to believe your God is sovereign and that His promises to deliver, protect and provide for you are true. No matter what the circumstances look like, if you fill your heart and mind with faith in Him you will make room for God to move on your behalf. Then you can have confidence that you will not be put to shame or disgraced.

WORDS OF LIFE:

  • I have decided to place all my trust in the Word of God.
  • By faith I receive God’s help in this season of unemployment and I know He is more than able to meet my needs.
  • I am not ashamed to be unemployed for I am a child of God and joint heir with Jesus. There is no disgrace in my situation.

Word of the Day

Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.
